Steelers Wire

What we have seen this offseason is that Pittsburgh Steelers General Manager isn’t holding back when it comes to making moves he believes will help this team win. But how far would the “Khan Artist” go? Would he trade away the team’s best player if he thinks he can make the entire team even more talented? This is what we took a stab at in this latest seven-round mock draft. The 2024 NFL draft is top heavy at several key positions so we decided to see if we could get up into the Top 10 without losing the No. 20 overall pick even if it meant trading away edge T.J. Watt. And guess what? According to the Pro Football Focus mock draft simulator, it worked. We sent Watt to the Atlanta Falcons for the No. 8 overall pick as well at the No. 43 overall pick. It allowed the Steelers to land not only the top center in the draft with their second pick but scored a franchise left tackle as well.
