There are many different ways to build a football team, but at the end of the day, history suggests none of them will result in Super Bowl wins without the right quarterback. It's why teams take big swings on the position in the draft every year, and the 2024 draft won't be any different. In fact, based on the scuttlebutt months in advance, teams could be even more aggressive this year. By and large, there isn't a lot of faith in the 2025 QB class. While a lot can change between now and then, and I'm confident at least one QB will emerge at the college level next season, teams aren't willing to take that chance. That means there's a high likelihood we'll see teams jockeying for position this year to get their QB now rather than hoping for the best next year. I approached this latest mock with that in mind. It isn't difficult to figure out what's most likely to happen at No. 1, but afterward? Things could get nuts, so after having only one trade in my last mock, I've got multiple this go-round.
