Free agency is almost a week old and the Carolina Panthers now have a clearer idea of what they need from the 2023 NFL Draft. General manager Scott Fitterer has been incredibly aggressive over the last week, which is further highlighted by a daring trade-up to No. 1 overall for their pick of the quarterback litter. There are rumors swirling about what the Panthers will do from atop the draft. Depending on which insider you read or hear, Carolina has no idea which direction they're going or those in power have narrowed it down to two prospects in pursuit of finding their next franchise signal-caller. In truth, nobody knows for sure outside of influential people within the building. And make no mistake, that's exactly how Fitterer wants it at this stage.
