Patriots Wire

The New England Patriots are in danger of being left out in the cold when it comes to the free agent market at wide receiver. They got outbid by the Tennessee Titans for former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Calvin Ridley, and while the pipe dream trades for Tee Higgins and Brandon Aiyuk exist, those are still two long-shot options. So what now? The Patriots now turn their attention to the 2024 NFL draft, which is full of receiving talent. That pushes them to get aggressive and move up into the first round to take one of the best prospects on the entire board. What better way to start off a rebuild than giving a rookie quarterback a No. 1 receiving target to grow with in an offense?
