The New England Patriots have a chance to course correct coming off the worst season in the Bill Belichick era. They sputtered their way through free agency, but the splash fans have patiently waited to see could come at the 2024 NFL draft. It’s the beginning of the Jerod Mayo and Eliot Wolf era, and New England has eight picks in total, including the No. 3 overall pick. It’s a rare position to be in for a team looking for a new franchise face to take over the reins at quarterback. But it isn’t just about the quarterback position. The Patriots need game-changing playmakers at receiver and reliable offensive lineman to ensure whoever is under center has a fighting chance.
