Bears Wire

● By Nate Atkins
The Chicago Bears are gearing up for their most important NFL draft in recent memory. While they only have four selections in the 2024 NFL draft, two of those come in the top 10 — including the first overall selection — and all four are in the first round rounds. In our latest four-round mock draft, the Bears have strategically focused on selecting players who bring versatility and a high football IQ to the team and possess the foundational qualities necessary to build a dynasty. Most importantly, Chicago secures their franchise quarterback in Caleb Williams. They also bolster their offensive line with tackle Joe Alt and interior lineman Christian Haynes, ensuring Caleb’s protection in the pocket and establishing solid run blocking for D’Andre Swift and the team’s talented running backs. With their final pick, they add Cedric Gray, a dynamic linebacker capable of altering the game’s momentum with a single play.
