Bears Wire

● By Nate Atkins
The 2024 NFL draft kicks off today, and the Chicago Bears will be on the clock for a pair of first-round selections at Nos. 1 and 9. In my final mock draft, the Bears address key positions on both sides of the ball and add players who fit the scheme and the culture. Caleb Williams has the potential to become a franchise quarterback and the face of the team for years to come. Olumuyiwa Fashanu and Ruke Orhorhoro are powerful, versatile players who will improve their offensive and defensive lines. Ainias Smith is a dynamic playmaker who will add a new dimension to the offense and complement the Bears’ existing weapons. These players have the talent and work ethic to make an immediate impact and help Chicago build a playoff-caliber team.
