The Green Bay Packers haven't experienced many losing seasons over the past three decades, but they are destined for an early pick in next year's draft. Losing is never fun, but it is sometimes necessary to speed up a rebuild. Teams like the Cincinnati Bengals and Detroit Lions rebuilt their rosters after multiple losing seasons. Cincinnati had the first overall pick in 2020 and the fifth selection in 2021, using them to select Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase. The majority of the Packers' roster was built with picks lower down the draft order. This team is hard to watch, but one benefit of a poor season is the draft position that follows. Unless Green Bay makes significant improvements between now and the end of the year, a top-five pick is realistic.
