The Green Bay Packers are no longer Super Bowl contenders, but they are building for the future. It will take time, as the Packers need to create a healthier salary cap, which means relying on younger players on rookie deals and signing fewer free agents. We're seeing the results of that this season. General manager Brian Gutekunst has to keep finding contributors in the NFL Draft. This year's class already looks like a good one. Lukas Van Ness has made a steady start, while Luke Musgrave and Jayden Reed are already key starters on offense. Dontayvion Wicks, Karl Brooks, and Carrington Valentine look like Day 3 steals. The Packers have a talented but inexperienced roster, and several areas still need work. Green Bay will continue to build for the future in the 2024 NFL Draft.
